Along with nine other interns in my class, I was privileged to have spent time with Nicole during her final hours on this earth. In class that night, she talked about her spiritual and religious beliefs. When she left class that evening, I saw her walk down the hallway, then turn and run back to the classroom to tell me good-bye. I will cherish those final moments forever.

Nicole also turned in her wellness plan in which she referred to the work of Esther Hicks. Esther shares lessons from Abraham who teaches:

- The purpose of your life is joy.

- You may appropriately depart your body without illness or pain.

- You cannot die; you are Everlasting Life.

Nicole, you brought great joy to my life. I take comfort in knowing that you left us peacefully and that your beautiful spirit will live on forever.

Nicole, thank you for the love that you shared with everyone you ever came into contact with. Thank you for teaching me how to write progress notes and making me feel so comfortable in Practicum. Your infectious smile and vibrant laugh always gave warmth to my soul, and your love and passion for teaching the couples was truly an inspiration to us all. I know you are in a better place, watching us and smiling down on us! I make it my mission to help carry on your passion and zeal to help and love others, and I will never forget the impact you have made on me and on so many. Love you and miss you girl!

Nicole, we started the program together and had at least one class together each semester. I always admired the way your smile brightened the room. It was in our last class, Special Pops, that you really shined through, sharing your life story. Although my heart is so saddened by your sudden passing, I am grateful for the moments we shared. Our last conversation was an emotional because you had just done your presentation. I am so glad we had that talk. You will long live in our hearts. Love always and God bless your family.--Melissa
